WashOrIdaUt Road Trip

These pictures, along with the last post and a forthcoming farm-themed post, are all from a sweet road trip I took last weekend with Jill and Charlotte.  We needed to get Charlotte's car from Seattle (well, technically Hawaii) to Salt Lake, so naturally that meant stopping by Portland for doughnuts and driving up the Columbia river.

For some reason, I always get back from trip like this and find I took a lot of scenery pictures, and very few people pictures.  Oops.

This building is a restroom.  That is the sole purpose for which it was built.

A portion of the road, upon which said trip took place.

On the second day, we stopped for lunch at The Hungry Onion in Meridian, ID.  Tasty.  Meridian, apparently, likes to keep a few railroad cars available downtown (yes, this is downtown) for the local artists; we stopped here to eat our burgers.

Part of the trip was even in color.  I really have to work on my people-picture skills.

That's a fun drive, beautifully captured. Sorry the ending wasn't so great.
