These are from a drive Christian, Stephanie and I took a couple months ago at the beginning of June. The North Cascades Hwy is closed most of the year because of snow, but they plow it usually sometime late Spring and it stays open until the Fall. I brought my Holga along for the ride.
We pulled off at the top of Washington Pass and hiked a little trail out to an overlook, took some pictures, ate some Jiffy-Pop, and just chilled out for a little bit before turning around and heading back home. Not a bad little Sunday drive.
A couple of these pictures already made it onto Facebook, so I apologize for the repeats.
Christian and Stephanie modeling.
By the way, I love the mountains. They make me very happy... perhaps even giddy. I may have skipped down this road a little bit.
It takes monster snow plows like these to clear the roads.

I love Highway 20. Unfortunately, we don't take it to get to Lake Pearrygin now that we live so close to I-90.
Beautiful.
